The Baby Sharon Fund thanks Jackson Hewitt and Arkansas Select Tax Services, Inc. for informing their clients about the Baby Sharon Fund as they helped them with their taxes. That kind, cooperative action resulted in a significant increase in donations and helps the Baby Sharon Fund get the money necessary to make grants to families whose children have a catastrophic illness.
A big thank you to Jennie Coy, Director of the Robinson Middle School EAST lab, her students Michael Haun, Patrick Rogers, and Clayton Wilkens, and several Robinson parents who raised over $1,000 for the Baby Sharon Fund. They raised the money by staging a basketball tournament and selling concessions, and then giving all the money to the Baby Sharon Fund. The tournament netted $507 and the local Wal Mart matched the contribution. More meaningful than the money, the students at Robinson gave us a lesson in love. Baby Sharon Fund and the Catastrophic Health Care Fund would not exist without the help of the following people:TestimonialsPlease express my thanks to your committee for this generous donation. Maybe it will be helpful to any other families. http://www.apotransferrin.com Best Regards, ![]() Words cannot express how much Madison and I appreciate the Baby Sharon Fund for the 12x12 room and ramp. - Debra Needhame - Mother of Madison Coulter shown in the picture at the left with Santa Claus ![]() "In memory of brave little Dylan Baskin" My name is Brandy Baskin and my son Dylan has Cutis Laxa. It is a very serious illness and he require constant care, so I have had to drop out of college and quit my job. Dylan's heart failed May 23 and we were given no hope. My husband and I stayed by his side because we may have had no control over whether he lived or died, but we wanted him to know we were there no matter what. By the grace of God, my baby recovered and was coming home, but my husband had missed a month of work so things were rough. One week after coming home his company went out of business. We were about to loose everything. Then our PAL care worker told us about you. The money you gave us is the reason my family has a roof over their heads and it paid our electric, which had more than tripled because of all the different machines we need for our son. Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough, but thank you so much. Here are some pictures of Dylan, maybe his sweet smile will encourage others to give to your wonderful organization. ![]() Resources | F.A.Q. | Message Board | News & Events | Stories Appreciation Page | Health Chat | Contact Us | Home ©2012 Arkansas Cares | Designed and Programmed by Aristotle® |
